Blog Assignment #5

The above address belongs to a Tech Club of a group of students in Florida. Each student doesn’t have his/her own blog; all post to the same blog. Respond to 3 different posts. Write at least 3 sentences for each. Please do not use texting symbols (this isn’t texting).

Read the post “Ice Day”. Respond to the January 27, 2009 “Ice Day” post. In your response, tell them under what kinds of weather conditions bus travel is cancelled for students at HCS. Also, ask one question (open-ended, not closed) about the ice day.
Part c) Add these two blogs to your Google Reader.

I know Mr. McClung is very appreciative of your students posting on his blog. He is a first year teacher and is really getting into blogging. Your students posting comments on his blog are a tremendous source of encouragement.

Our students were very excited to see students from Canada come and have someone from the other side of the world comment was a big thrill. We conducted a talk about Canada and it seems our Y7 students know NOTHING! I don’t know if someone would mind but perhaps a post with some facts about your country and school to help out us in New Zealand!
